Dio Vista Homeowners Association was established in 2004 as an affordable housing development consisting of 112 free title stands. Situated in the hilly south western end of Nelspruit, this development offers excellent views over Nelspruit and the undeveloped bushveld towards Kaapsehoop. The complex boasts 24-hour security, and well maintained common grounds and gardens. Several amenities are close by such as Nelspruit Mediclinic, Rob Ferreira State Hospital, quality primary and secondary schools, tertiary education facilities, shopping centres and restaurants, all within a 5km range, even though the complex is situated on the outskirts of Nelspruit.

Nelspruit, being part of the Greater Mbombela Municipality, is situated in the heart of Mpumalanga in an area known as the Lowveld. Rich in nature, the Lowveld offers stunning bushveld scenery, lush with vegetation, close to the Kruger National Park with an abundance of bio-diversity, and various other tourism hotspots for the nature lover such as waterfalls and hiking trails on the Drakensberg Escarpment within a 50km radius. The historical towns of as Kaapsehoop and Pilgrimsrest are within half a day’s distance, and provides an ideal getaway without having to semigrate away from commercial opportunities.

The complex is known for being run efficiently, with one of the lowest monthly levies so as to provide maximum benefit and value to owners. Most of the properties consist of 3 bedroom houses measuring on average 140sqm in floor space, and erven measuring anything between 600sqm to 1200sqm. Access is controlled through one gate, provided with a security guard and constant monitoring.

Management of the complex is done in the form of a Homeowners Association registered as a Non-Profit Company in terms of Section 1 of the Companies Act 71 of 2008, being the successor to the well-known Section 21 Company registered under the previous Companies Act of 1973. Management consist of a board of directors, a complex manager and personnel appointed to assist in the daily activities of upkeep. The main purpose of the Non-Profit Company is to carry on the business of a Homeowners Association, whereby titleholders form part of the members of the Association and are entitled to vote at annual general meetings, and decide on the appointment of directors each year.
